Ms. Marietta Lo is a registered nurse who completed a Bachelor degree in Nursing Science in Australia in 1994 and obtained a Master degree in Health and Hospital Management in 2000. She also obtained the Diploma in Applied Nutrition and Family Health, Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Nutrition, and Postgraduate Diploma in End-of-life Care in The Chinese University of Hong Kong.  

 

Ms. Lo has over 20 years of elderly services in a managerial position.  She worked in NGOs including Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, The Salvation Army, Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Limited, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service and The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong, and private sectors such as Quality Healthcare Elderly Services & Humansa of The New World Development Limited as Nursing Manager and Service Director respectively.  She was responsible for overseeing and monitoring the service development, service quality, and staff training. In addition, she introduced End-of-Life care services into the elderly homes.  

 

Moreover, she collaborated with the multi-professional team to design special puree diet “ Loving and Tender cuisine” for the elderly with swallowing difficulty.
